An MTC (Mobile Treatment Center) is a larger emergency transport vehicle outfitted with a full medical interior — typically a truck or van body purpose-built to carry a patient and treatment equipment.

An ETV (Emergency Transport Vehicle) is the broader category that includes MTCs and other purpose-built first-response vehicles used on industrial job sites.

Every unit in MTC Rentals' fleet is OH&S compliant and built for industrial first-response use, regardless of which label fits.
All rentals include a truck with a first aid unit, stretcher, and spine board. Our units are rollover certified and OH&S compliant. First aid supplies and damage waiver can be added for an additional cost.
We offer rentals from a single day up to multi-year long-term contracts. Most of our customers run rentals for 30+ days. We routinely support multi-year contracts on major industrial projects with on-site fleet swaps when scheduled maintenance is required.
For rentals over 30 days the customer is responsible for regular maintenance for the vehicle recommended by the manufacturer. This typically applies to oil changes only.

For rentals under 30 days there is no required maintenance by the client.
If a customer has rental coverage, fleet coverage for non-owned vehicles or has transferable insurance, this will cover the insurance requirements for any rentals.

If the customer declines the Loss Damage Waiver Package, the customer must assume full responsibility of the total cash value for the vehicle and any other charges resulting from damages that incurred during the rental period.
A $2,500 pre-authorization may be required in order to rent any of our equipment. For your convenience, we accept Visa and Master Card.
Your Credit Card will be charged automatically following the issuance of an invoice.
If you wish to change your payment method please contact us at (780) 652-1204 or email Rentals@MTCRentals.ca for alternative payment options.

Customers are allowed to pay using the following methods:
VISA, Master Card, Pre Authorized Debit, EFT/Wire, Interac E-Transfer.
A valid driver's license is required in order to operate any of our vehicles.
There is a standard $129 cleaning fee after the return of any rental.
Any missing fuel will be added to the final bill at the cost of $3.20/L.
In addition there is a $29 service fee for rentals returned with fuel below full.

Minor rock chips and cracks to a windshield will not be charged for a windshield replacement if the damage incurred is less than the size of a toonie (3cm). Anything greater than 3cm may be subject to a full windshield replacement charge.
Our rental vehicles must not be taken out of Canada.

CMVSS stands for Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. Rollover certification means the vehicle's cabin and body structure have been engineered and tested to maintain occupant survival space during a rollover event — the cab does not collapse onto the people inside.

WorkSafeBC and Alberta OH&S require this certification for industrial transport vehicles on most job sites. Every unit in our rental and for-sale fleet is CMVSS rollover certified, typically built on Tufport bodies, which set the industry standard for rollover-certified Mobile Treatment Centers.
Yes. Every unit is Transport Canada compliant and CMVSS-certified, including the rollover protection standard required on most industrial sites. Each rental is delivered with current certification documentation so safety officers can verify compliance during a site audit.
